Official Rules
1 LifeOfSports.com owns the right of all clothing for the final table live tournament.
2 Students must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
3 Students must be enrolled in a College or University in North America.
4 All participants must be enrolled as a student for any period during the 2007-2008 academic year. ANY student qualifies, whether they are full time or part time, graduate or under graduate, at a 1-year, 2-year, 4-year or graduate school.
5 Student awards will be paid in cash.
6 Taxes are the responsibility of each student.
7 LifeOfSports.com is only responsible for the student's tuition. This award does not include lodging, books, meal plans, student memberships or any costs other than tuition.
8 The tournament winner must provide tuition cost and proof of enrolment in a Canadian College or University on or before April 29th, 2008 to Lifeofsports.com.
9 Tournament winner agrees to grant LifeOfSports.com the right to use their name, picture, likeness in all media in conjunction with Lifeofsports.com products, services or marketing.
10 Tournament winner agrees to release LifeOfSports.com and its authorized representatives and contractors from any liability (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation or right of publicity) arising out of any distortion or illusionary effect resulting from the publication of my picture , portrait, likeness , or Scholarship award.
11 Tournament winner warrants and represents that this license does not in any way conflict with any existing commitment on the tournament winners part.
12 Proof of enrollment includes the following: Letter of acceptance by the post secondary institution whether a new student or returning student. This must be an official school document with the seal of the register of the post secondary institution on it. Schedule of enrollment cost and fees from the post secondary institution for the tournament winner including Spring 2008 tuition cost and number of classes enrolled in. Official bank or post secondary institution confirmation of payment or receipts for fall semester.
13 Students consent to having their photo taken and their details published in the press.
14 Management reserves the right to change the awards, dates and times of the events as well as the number of entrants.
15 We acknowledge that this event is not endorsed by any particular college or club. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that participation in this event does not violate any college, state or federal law.
16 Tuition payout is a maximum of $9000 US Dollars
