Well, this story didn’t take very long to come out! Mere days after Annie Duke appeared on the list of the final 10 nominees for the Poker Hall of Fame, here long-time rival Daniel Negreanu made sure that everyone who may possibly be voting for the Poker Hall of Fame’s Class of 2011 remembers the many indiscretions in the career of Annie Duke. PokerListings.com caught up to Daniel Negreanu at the World Series of Poker Europe and got him on record as saying: “For what? Robbing people at UB? Owing Russ Hamilton money and never paying him back? For stealing money from people at the poker table? For representing poker in the worst light imaginable when she was on Celebrity Apprentice? For all those things then yes,” in regards to Annie Duke’s nomination. Duke wasn’t the only member of the family who drew harsh criticism from Negreanu, as he once again called out Howard Lederer for his role with Full Tilt Poker –Negreanu recently took Howard Lederer and other members of the Full Tilt Poker brass to task in a video interview—telling PokerListings.com, “Along with her brother, the Lederer family would be the king and queen of the poker Hall of Shame,” In addition to the above criticisms by Negreanu, Duke has also been called out for unethical behavior at the tables –for a detailed story on some of this behavior might I suggest Googling Terrence Chan + Annie Duke + Shannon Elizabeth + Playboy Mansion.
