Catch The River LLC was founded in 2005 after the success experienced by Eric Burghardt, President, while using poker hypnosis to control his tilt at the table. Based on his results Eric & Michele decided to make the 'NoTilt' audio series available to the general poker playing public to help with the psychological aspect of the game. Other custom desiged products and services are The Edge Poker System, a subliminal audio session used by players to help keep their head in the game while they play, and one-on-one personalized coaching which utilized hypnosis tele-sessions for poker players around the world.

In 2006, CTR launched their sister company, BigFish Poker Products to bring custom designed poker sunglasses and other unique products to the decerning poker player. Humberto Brenes debuted BigFish River Rims at the WSOP Main Event in 2006.
