As the 2009 Wimbledon tennis grand slam heads into its second week, pre-tournament favorites Roger Federer and Andy Murray remain on course to meet in the men's final.
World number two Federer, who has dropped only one set in his first three matches, has firmed to a 1.57 favorite at British bookmaker Ladbrokes. He will potentially face fourth-seeded Serb Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals.
Murray, 2.75 to become the first Brit to win the world's most prestigious tournament since Fred Perry 73 years ago, has looked just as impressive as Federer so far, but has an easier run to the final, with sixth seed Andy Roddick the most highly-rated challenger on his side of the draw.
Odds of 1.80 are now being offered on a Murray-Federer final.
Ladbrokes is also offering special odds on the men's event, including a virtual Davis Cup, pitting pairs from different countries against each other based on the most total match wins in the tournament for the pair.
Serbia is a 2.62 favorite, with Djokovic carrying the flag alone after compatriot Victor Troicki was knocked out in the third round. The nominated Czech pair, Radek Stepanek and Tomas Berdych, are good value at 3.50 as they are the only listed pair that are both still in the tournament.
The Williams sisters remain favorites in the ladies' singles heading into the second week - Serena, 2.62, and Venus, 3.25 - with pre-tournament third favorite Maria Sharapova now out of the race. Victoria Azarenka of Belarus has firmed to 7.50, to become the main challenger to the American sisters leading into the round of 16.
