Just call her "Your Majesty." Deb Blair of Tucson was crowned Queen of Poker after winning first place in the Casino Arizona Inaugural Ladies State Poker Championship on Sept. 16 at Casino Arizona 101 & Indian Bend.

Competing against 400 female entrants for the top spot, Blair walked away victorious — taking home $40,000 in cash, a $7,000 diamond pendant necklace and a championship trophy after nearly 13 hours of play.

"I am ecstatic and proud to have won first place," said Blair a first-time player at Casino Arizona.
Blair, a wife, mother and senior manager at a call center, beat her opponent with a pair of kings, which resulted in her being named the best female poker player in the state.

Second-place winner of the tournament was Jennifer Gray of Gilbert. She won $20,000 and a trophy, while third-place winner Kate Erbe of Anthem took home $11,000 and a trophy.
