Betting on the Super Bowl is a classic choice between one team or the other - usually a favorite and an underdog.

While the two weeks heading to Super Sunday were much about Peyton Manning ("Is he the greatest?") and his team the colts ("Can we call them a dynasty?"), every single bettor knew the Saints story by heart (franchise's first time on the main stage, a team built after Katrina struck).

You couldn't help but see the Colts' superiority. You couldn't help but feel for the Saints. And the odds were there - clear as day - to back the favorites. The end - well we know how the game ended.

New Orleans Saints 31 - Indianapolis colts 17.

The 7/4 favorites lost. The team once 7 points ahead at the Las Vegas sports books lost.

For those that New Orleans has made believers out of, today is a happy day.
